Libya

Mohammed Zaid is the founder and director of LYBOTICS, a national movement dedicated to inspiring the next generation of Libyan science and technology leaders through robotics programs via digital skills training from kindergarten through high school. Mohammed has led LYBOTICS to expand into one of Libya's largest youth-driven initiatives, scaling to over 150 robotics teams across 20 cities and reaching 5,000 students to date. He uses robotics as a practical way to bring young people together across divided communities, helping stabilize a fragile post-conflict country by creating alternatives to violence and giving youth the skills they need to help rebuild national capacity.
