Kevin Milo is the founder and lead changemaker of Dukasure, a company dedicated to shielding Kenya’s two million informal shopkeepers from catastrophic poverty shocks through instant, mobile-first micro-insurance. Since 2023, he has insured over 200 shopkeepers, preventing over $142K in losses and enabling an average revenue growth of 37 percent. In ten years, he envisions scaling his model to insure 20M microentrepreneurs across 10 countries and co-designing a more resilient future for African shopkeepers.
