Ileana Santos is the co-founder of Je m’engage pour l’Afrique (JMA), a public policy incubator that connects more than 30,000 emerging leaders across Francophone Africa and Europe. JMA has trained more than 2,000 young people in research, citizen dialogue, action programs, and advocacy. Ileana aims to grow JMA into a continental platform that gives young Africans and members of the diaspora the tools, networks, and access to turn their ideas into solutions, build powerful coalitions, and exercise real influence over the decisions shaping Africa’s future.
