Kyi Yeung Goh
2026-2027 Obama Foundation Asia-Pacific Leader

Founder, DataStory SG
Singapore
Kyi Yeung Goh is the founder of DatastorySG, which builds AI accessibility by working with community organizations and schools through data science bootcamps and storytelling. He has reached over 800 students with data literacy programs spanning the academic year, empowering young learners to solve real-world community problems. Encouraged by the support he received from his own teachers, Kyi ensures that students understand the tools at their disposal, such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. He embeds AI in school curricula to help students understand the logic behind it, preparing individuals to adapt to rapid AI disruption. He focuses on shifting students from passive users of generative tools to critical creators who understand the ethical and technical foundations of AI. By scaling DataStorySG into a pro-bono advisory for schools, Kyi has built a strong foundation for leading regional talks on ethical AI.
