Over the weekend, an unprecedented 50 tornadoes touched down and wreaked havoc across eight states in the Midwestern and Southern United States. Nearly 100 people are confirmed dead, over 1,000 are experiencing homelessness, and the damage is truly unfathomable.
Here at the Foundation, our hearts go out to everyone affected—both in this moment, and in the weeks and months ahead as families and communities rebuild. That’s why we hope you will consider making a donation to one of the organizations listed below.

Team Kentucky
Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief (Opens in a new tab) was established almost overnight by Governor Andy Beshear to assist those impacted.
Global Empowerment Mission
Global Empowerment Mission (Opens in a new tab) is on the ground and providing emergency recovery efforts across the state of Kentucky after this weekend’s historic tornado outbreak.
Edwardsville Community Foundation
The ECF Relief Fund (Opens in a new tab) was activated in response to the severe weather event on December 10. Funds raised will go towards assisting the Illinois community as they recover.
CARE
CARE (Opens in a new tab) is working with local community-based partners in Louisville to get families food, water, and emergency cash vouchers.
United Way of Kentucky
United Way of Kentucky (Opens in a new tab) has set up a Disaster Recovery Fund to support local communities in need. 100% of the funds received by UWKY will go directly to the recovery efforts in affected areas.
