What a year it has been at The Obama Foundation! In 2025, we moved even closer to opening the Obama Presidential Center, celebrating major construction milestones while continuing the work that has always defined us: developing leaders, expanding opportunity, and strengthening communities in Chicago and across the world.
Much of our photography captured the transformation of the Center’s campus. Home Court reached completion, museum exhibits took shape, and teams worked behind the scenes to prepare for our June 2026 opening. Each milestone brought us one step closer to creating a place designed for creativity, connection, and community.
Beyond the construction site, our global work continued to grow—from welcoming new Obama Leaders, Scholars, and Voyagers into our network to supporting Girls Opportunity Alliance partners in Chicago and around the world, to strengthening programs on the South Side that provide mentorship, jobs, and pathways to opportunity.
