Malachi Hernandez

Malachi serves as a Real Estate Development Project Manager at the Boston Housing Authority (BHA), a public housing agency in Boston that provides quality affordable housing for low-income families. He is responsible for managing BHA's redevelopment projects which encompasses planning, organizing, and directing the completion of projects to ensure they are completed on time, on budget, and within scope in order to enhance portfolio growth.
His career began working at The City School, a nonprofit that develops and strengthens youth to become effective leaders for social justice. Soon after, Malachi worked for the Massachusetts State Senate supporting policy development, and the City of Boston, where he aided small businesses in obtaining permits, COVID-relief grants, and connected youth to opportunities of employment. Additionally, he's helped nonprofit organizations fundraise for efforts related to youth development.
As a passionate and motivated project manager, public speaker, and community leader, Malachi is dedicated to advancing economic equity by uplifting small businesses, encouraging working families to invest as a means towards financial freedom, and collaborating with the next generation of young leaders.
Malachi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication Studies with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University.
