Antoinette (Toni) Bush

Former Executive Vice President, Global Head of Government Affairs, News Corp

Antoinette (Toni) Bush was the Executive Vice President and Global Head of Government Affairs for News Corp, a global media company and home of Dow Jones, The Wall Street Journal, New York Post, newspapers in the UK and Australia, HarperCollins Publishers and Realtor.com, among other business from 2013 to 2022. Ms. Bush was responsible for leading the company’s government relations efforts in the US, the UK and Australia and headed the company’s Philanthropy Committee. 

Prior to News Corp, Ms. Bush was the partner in charge of Skadden Arps’ Communications Group and represented global media, entertainment and telecom entities. 

Ms. Bush was Executive Vice President of Northpoint Technology Ltd., where she led legal and regulatory strategies. She also served as Senior Counsel to the Communications Subcommittee of the U.S. Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee and worked on numerous bills, including the landmark Cable Act of 1992. 

She chairs the boards of The HistoryMakers and serves on the boards of a number of entities including Ares Management LLC, Children’s National Hospital and The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. 

She is a graduate of Northwestern University Law School and Wellesley College.
