A'shanti F. Gholar is the president and chief executive officer at Emerge America, the nation's largest organization of women elected officials and candidates, which recruits, trains, and provides a network for women who want to seek government office. A’shanti has trained over 6,500 women across the country, and as a result, over 1,200 Emerge America alumni serve in elected roles. Driven by her commitment to equity and justice, she co-launched programs like Leaders Emerge fostering women's leadership development.
