Carlisha Williams Bradley
2024-2025 Obama Foundation USA Leader

Founder and Executive Director, Women Empowering Nations
Tulsa, Oklahoma
Carlisha Williams Bradley is the founder and executive director at Women Empowering Nations (WEN), a nonprofit organization that accelerates the path to executive leadership for girls of color. As the first Black woman on the Oklahoma State Board of Education, an award-winning executive, former superintendent, and women’s leadership coach, Carlisha champions education and women’s leadership globally to alleviate the lack of diversity in the C-Suite. She has reached more than 9,000 Black girls through WEN’s transformative programming and continues her changemaking work despite the introduction of HB 1775, a bill restricting discussions on race and gender in Oklahoma schools.
