Natalia Węgrzyn is the Executive Director of Shared Ground, a nonprofit organization working to bridge divides and foster reconciliation on climate, environmental and nature protection issues. Natalia has pioneered a novel approach to engaging a variety of audiences by ensuring all perspectives are understood and respected, promoting empathy and collaboration towards shared environmental solutions for the common good, with an eye towards cultivating a sense of shared responsibility for the environment among individuals who feel excluded or whose needs have been overlooked. Her efforts have contributed to building trust, inspire new policy solutions, and increasing engagement among government, civic, and community stakeholders whose perspectives have historically not been represented in environmental conversations.
