Malte Krüger serves as a member of the State Parliament of Schleswig-Holstein and is the education policy spokesperson for the Green Parliamentary Group. He spearheads numerous parliamentary initiatives aimed at improving education policy and equity within Schleswig-Holstein. This includes a significant focus on inclusive schooling and social justice, notably the establishment of “Perspective Schools” to support students facing educational disadvantages alongside championing increased funding for higher education to benefit both students and institutions. He promotes using education to combat extremism in order to create resilient democracies. Malte’s extensive experience in coalition governments and successful policy implementation has instilled in him the importance of consensus-building and collaborative problem-solving.
