Agne Bilotaite is a member of parliament in Lithuania and the head of the Lithuanian Women’s Parliamentary Group. A member since 2008, in Parliament she has focused on corruption prevention, whistleblower protection, and women’s rights. From 2020 to 2024, she also served as the Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania. In this role, she led domestic migration reform and influenced new external EU border protection standards by addressing international migration challenges. Agne is committed to advancing women’s rights through international collaboration, and she seeks to address the impact of artificial intelligence and new technologies on women, with a focus on mitigating repression, exclusion, and hate speech. She is also dedicated to building cross-sectoral networks and leading systemic change to tackle significant national and regional challenges.
