Lenart Žavbi is a member of the Slovenian National Assembly. At the time of his election in 2022, he became the youngest person in Slovenia’s history to hold this position. He is the Vice-Chair of the Committee on European Union Affairs and a member of the Finance, Foreign Policy, and Health committees. Known for his active participation in parliamentary debates, Lenart advocates for solutions to social and environmental problems. He is committed to maintaining public trust in the National Assembly through transparent and inclusive governance practices. Additionally, he is finishing his master’s degree on the development and balance of power in Slovenia’s middle class.
