Kyra Kapi is the communications director in the Office of the Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic. In this role, she develops and implements storytelling campaigns to promote civic participation and awareness. In 2023, Kyra successfully managed an award-winning digital campaign on TikTok that enabled the Prime Minister to communicate and connect more effectively with the younger population. The campaign received global attention with over 42 million views. She also designed and led a video campaign that depicted the experiences of LGBTQ+ people, playing a crucial role in garnering public support for the Greek Gay Marriage Bill that was passed by the Hellenic Parliament in February 2024. Kyra is passionate about women’s rights and autonomy and aspires to contribute to a world where women possess a heightened sense of self-worth.
