Gracia Josaphat Jobel "Billy” Mambrasar is the founder of Kitong Bisa Foundation Indonesia, an organization that supports the underprivileged population of Indonesia with a special focus on the Indigenous people of West Papua. Billy designed and created a unique curriculum that offers training and skills development for local youth and empowers community leaders to protect their natural environment. Through Billy's leadership, the Kitong Bisa Foundation has provided access to education for over 50,000 Indigenous students. In addition, Billy has supported over 1,000 entrepreneurs with capital to grow their businesses. Furthermore, Billy founded CONTAINDER, a social enterprise aimed at helping the communities in Indonesia deal with waste across the country, and advises Indonesia’s central government agency charged with managing Batam’s special economic and port zone. Billy was appointed special advisor to former Indonesian President Joko Widodo from 2019 to 2024, and he shaped 33 national policies and programs that broadened access to education and employment opportunities for underrepresented youth.
