Dr. Dexter Galban is assistant secretary at the Department of Education, overseeing all national programs for school health, youth development, physical fitness, and child rights protection. As a young public servant, Dexter focuses on improving the lives of more than 28 million students through national campaigns and policy reform. He aims to empower youth leadership, advocate for youth inclusion in decision-making, and drive positive change in education and public health through government initiatives. With over 15 years of experience leading nonprofits, government agencies, and businesses, he serves as one of the youngest assistant secretaries and one of the few non-elected executives under 35 in the Philippine government.
