Lucky Othman Kassim is the chairperson of the Somaliland Women's Resource Centre, a woman-led nonprofit organization that empowers young women by developing strategies to further their education, career development, and gender equality. Through her unwavering commitment to women's rights advocacy, she has connected 1,400 women to vital resources, and 75 percent of the graduates from her “Women Mentoring Women” initiative secure job placements or internships aligned with their career goals. Lucky’s deep passion for justice and equality drives her to continue fostering positive change, empowering individuals to embrace their rights, and shaping a more inclusive society for the future. Lucky’s leadership in Somaliland has provided women with significant and meaningful career development opportunities through founding her organization.
