Founder and Team Lead, Faith in Trees

Uganda

Ariokot Faith Patricia is the founder and team lead at Faith in Trees, an environmental organization that promotes innovation through tree planting. She has engaged with over 50,000 children in 12 districts across Uganda, helping them discover their own power to effect change through their actions. Through Faith in Trees, Faith created an innovation called the boom pencil, a plantable pencil that serves as a tool to teach children about the benefits of planting trees. To date, 10,000 pencils have been distributed, 11 schools have been reached, and more than 5,000 students have become tree planters.
