Daylene van Buuren is the Executive Director of City Year South Africa, a nonprofit organization that runs a one-year youth service program in Gauteng. Daylene believes in the power of young people to lead and that youth service provides a pathway for young people to make a meaningful contribution to a nation. Daylene is passionate about empowering children and young adults. She learned the importance of service to a cause greater than yourself from her parents.
